First word

A Poem by Seamus Underwood

She is beautiful,
Must be the body and soul of an angel ,
Know that this is true,
I am certain it is the truth,
Love is easy to give to
Her, the beautiful angel,

This angel wears black and white,
Is that a bad thing?
The flaws are beautiful too,
Truth is, the flaws are outweighed by the good in her,

I saw her checkered heart
Just fly away, I,
Want to say goodbye to
Her, but she’s too far
To be spoken to,
Be free in the sky then,
Happy and free,

It is difficult to fly when one
Doesn’t have any wings: but mind over
Matter, I’ll find a way to get to you,
If it takes me forever,
She will see a fallen angel fly,
Don’t believe?
Love will hopefully carry,
me,

I have flown without wings,
Just to see her one last time,
Want to say goodbye,
Her smile shines,
To a broken man,
Be happy and free she says,
Happy and free,
