Warning

Warning

A Poem by Stam

The warning signs were there
I still went through life without a care
Just pour me another glass of wine
Thought I could breeze through this time
Longed to know where I was from
Just kept searching for somewhere to belong
But I never made it easy on me
Centre of attention is where I had to be
Lost in this circus town
In the ring I was the clown
But the tears they weren't painted on
My heart is where their came from
So my soul goes in search for another town
Maybe this is the only way I can settle down
