Lying in bed staring at the ceiling
Doesn't help when it's my heart am healing
Got to move on from this dark past
Hate some of these memories don't want them to last
Sleepless nights just driving me crazy
Keep thinking Was it me did I just get lazy
Why is it you still find the need to haunt me
Why can't you release me and just let it be
Is this going to be my cross to bare
Why cant you take some blame it was ours to share
Really can't work out what went wrong
Maybe somebody should write it down in a song
Then maybe I'll be able to walk away
Move on with my life and start a new day
