Sun's out at 5A Poem by Sean C StuckiPoem I wrote about yearning for the past 2 years backWritten: 5/26/2018 Lay low, the golden era went to dusk, when did the sun rest? I gotta open my eyes. How's this king of the low laying? Lay low. Getting in the car without frowns this time, breakfast restaurant. I know this crystal in my hand is mine this time. Finally met a girl who has her s**t together, not under 2 timing weather, not afraid to ruffle feathers, we got it this time rollin' out on I-10. The new golden age we entered but the sign got lights with the reading of 'Loss' in the back of us. Out of back window when the sun was in the middle of the sky and now it's been about 2 years and the win turns into another L. Dynasty, pull out your GPS I need directions, now with the clouds covering the streets it leaves me on reflections. Saint pepsi playing in the back at the house parties, Now Skylar spence is dead in past eardrums as we lose another. 18 where things be lookin' good with the landscape and the brakes still working right but that sign on sundown is almost out of sight. I keep waking up after falling asleep with a bottle of red wine. 29 to suffer something else but we still got a guitar with a base line. This social experiment has finally fallen past the concrete long nights without the social card & no fake passports. When is the next one? Back to therapy to get my soul chemo-therapy. I'm tired of handing out pieces of me to no-body, instead I need to gather some clarity. Lay low, the golden era went to dusk, when did the sun rest? I gotta open my eyes. How's this king of the low laying? Lay low. © 2018 Sean C StuckiAuthor's Note
