i hold no thrall

i hold no thrall

A Poem by sea lily

i hold no thrall
for boys with beards
who venture out into wet nights.
no spasms
in his unmoulded seveteen year old body
no worrying, intoxicating gleam
in his slumberous eyes.
me, and my body
and the things he showed me it could do.
it holds no thrall.
i want the tug at my wrist
bruised with your fingerprints
and the dark
begging
i used to hate in him.
i don't want you to want my mind
or want my smile.
i want you to raw,
unstoppable want me. like you can't get enough.
i don't want to be just pretty.

Loved the wording in this.. I read it a few times, each time a different outcome. Loved the imagery, and the craving it creates for the reader, almost an urgency..
Another solid twisting of words.
