call me pretty

call me pretty

A Poem by sea lily

we walked
hand in hand
and you were there
scraping the damp hair from my face.
in cotton shirts
and underwear.
kissing rain blotches
and then suddenly
my neck
and everywhere.
i let you take me away.
i trust this man and the burden
i give to him.
but i will not regret
staking this claim
on my own body.

(met your eyes and smiled nervously
you stroked my hair
and called me pretty.)

This piece smolders with lust and desire. It is very effective in stirring emotions. Nicely done!

Oh- you are very good at saying just enough and not too much. I really like the feel of your poems. You may want to read some of mine. There are a few similarities.
