you left marks on my neck

you left marks on my neck

A Poem by sea lily

you left marks on my neck
and disappeared again.
don't let me wash
i want to exist
in these clothes,
rumpled and lived-in
want to feel your skin
and smell your morning sweat
next to a lover,
lonely, lonely
he never thought to warn me.
