valentina

valentina

A Poem by sea lily

the books lay huddled,
like sleeping kittens
the dust motes they hid,
concealed
beneath their warm panting bodies.
girls,
with dirty, rubbered fingers
plied their spines
revealed their secrets.
valentina,
valentina
dark eyes pooled
in your pale skin.
hold my hand just a little
sticky palms
unknowing.
let your soul in.
