straight coffee

straight coffee

A Poem by sea lily

fifty miles on the highway,
and she's screaming.
rear-view grandpapa
take me to the chess game floor
service station
harrumph, just wanted
an ordinary coffee
straight,
straight,
straight coffee,
please.
man with the crutches,
you're so sweet, baby,
nice to see a girl
so cheerful
and lovely.
well she
swapped her famine locks
for a curly wig
like espresso
replaced her nametag
with one that read
sweet misery.
splayed her legs
conjured up
the straight,
straight coffee.
milky.
and the makeshift
kitchen mocha
a very unstraight
pasta
heated on the hob.
i drank tea.
why do i get the feeling
we're no longer talking hypothetically?
you and me.

I like the coffee day and night. I like he poem. Made me laugh the conversation. A outstanding poem. You create a very good story. Ending was perfect. I know the feeling of this poem in the story.
