frank

frank

A Poem by sea lily

we begged to be frank,
well i will.
i loved the dark pigmentation
of your upper arm.
the bleached rock and driftwood
swaying from your skull
the way your eyes dart
into the unknown.
when i could love,
i loved
i swear i really did love
love 'til it loses meaning on the tongue.
