bedbugs

bedbugs

A Poem by sea lily

the sun stirred my slumber,
the faithless lover
who has left me
to perish in grey.
and i found myself
in a bed
with five pairs of socks
belonging to ten slender toes.
amongst the bed-throws...
he shone down on me
and the creeping creatures
and babies' heads
we were bedbugs
in a vast, orange sea.
