grey sea

grey sea

A Poem by sea lily

remember when
the virgin sea rushed to greet
you and me?
we were just two girls
in a grey playground,
playing at being lost and found.

Hauntingly beautiful...

Short, sharp, incredibly tight. Two little girls playing in "the virgin sea"--that is just marvelous. The wise and wonderful Bridgwood is correct; you have it.

Just perfect. You've definitely got it, whatever it is. I don't remember if I've actually reviewed you before but I read you a lot and I am a huge fan, glad to see you back.

your poetry, like the sea, is tidal, rhythmic, and infinitely female...this one is short, sweet, and echos a sadness...
