A Poem by sea lily

i knew a girl
who stitched her mouth up.
and declared;
"no longer will i eat."
she lost all her flesh
through the power of her feet.
and i stuck mine
in hardened boots
put on a stone or two.
we were like
the best friends in the movies.
we all were
all four.
distance, and heart's betrayal
tore our cross
and the body
was dismembered.
all we have left,
is all we remembered.
and with nobody to replace...

i think we need to talk.
i can't begin to start.
can't leak my inner heart
to the one who took it
in the first place.

she lost all her flesh through the power of her feet." Really well done
