winter ghost

winter ghost

A Poem by sea lily

i am a ghost in grey wool,

trying to warm my fingertips.

at your fire

in the winter

we spread and sank

featherlike

in a cover of sleep.

love

that only lasted

for the weak.

in this one reprieve

give me a reason

to believe.
