hope less.

hope less.

A Poem by sea lily

it's so hard to find hope

when he's in a loveless marriage

at age eighteen.

but i won't be that again--

the edge of a blade

a way of saying

"this is how."

i don't need it.

we wonder how

we got here

when just last year...

remember the last time i smiled

not out of malice

or a false pretension to pleasure?

i don't.
