mediation

mediation

A Poem by sea lily

as mediation goes,

i like this way.

unable to say goodbye

just like

the old days.

i would proclaim,

that i am yours.

every last hair

every last molecule

but, what was your word?

inappropriate?

but is it appropriate to say

that other men

make me ill

(like invaders

or parasites)

not to mention

the girls.

and from intimate relations

with them

i recoil.

worried, they might somehow

reach my soul.

and the vice

stole me from you

before we had a chance.

it's colder

and we never had a summer.

but we had each other

and endless time...

the season

to fortify our breath.

but i am not drunk

(for once)

just simply

rest my head

on your broad,

comforting,

man's chest.

make my own ensemble

out of your garments

as i lay down

to rest.
