flightA Poem by sea lilya week apart, and they all descend. no surprise through drinks, i cried and longed for... a safer place than this. a familiar face to kiss. knotted string between my organs, crying-in-the-bathroom girl, that's when a beautiful stranger said; "don't return to him." but between the veil that hid me from her world i was too distant. for once, too thin. these days i keep one rose pressed, between pre-raphaelite pages. the rest were gone when i came home one day and i didn't question it. and all your jumpers, have lost the smell of you.
it's a lonely place, and christmas is coming. but i won't be going back.
