A Poem by sea lily

he found it out,

and i saw a tightening

at the side of his mouth.

which gradually eased into,

you smell so

just like vanilla.

and he clasped my arm right there

with the sweetest smile

'i like bumping into you,

it reminds me you live outside of it

like me, too.'

i wasn't ashamed

at the thrill in my stomach

that manifested itself in tears

hours later

without soulmate-lover

who i couldn't make happy

without changing all over.

i only want to hear, it's okay,

you done good, girl.

not afraid to live alone.

not afraid

to let your arms get cold.

wherever i try

i'm only met with dismay.

I don't know who else is coming around to see, but if they're not it's their loss...your words are smooth, easy, real... Ed
