in a dream

in a dream

A Poem by sea lily

stranger, dream to suicide.
lying on the ground with his shoes upturned,
in dream-world i begged you for our lives.
kissed his hand, and solemn faces said;
that's his best friend.

cultivate a shy romance,
between two prisoners.
i'm gathering, one by one,
the missing puzzle pieces. the past
coagulates around my darkened fingers.
in the dark room her face flushes into being
my good morning, my pillarbox,
my irony.
