A Poem by sea lily
"

for gwen, my lodestone.

"
i told a friend,
at friendship's end;
'you cannot understand the poetry,
of a vintage dress and faded jeans.'
and she said; 'poetry is reality
not some imagined fancy.
trains and oceans and bookmarks
and romanticised intoxication.
you call this poetry,
because that's where you live.
in an unreality.'
