Just Say YesA Poem by sea lily
Wind, wind the window blind
so the night can't peek in. Rest upon my canvas like you rest upon my mattress. Then in a dim, August dawn I lay hunched up against a stranger pillow and woke to smear over every crevice, every pore, the woman's way to war. Have it lie upon my skin so my true (unadmired) smile can't be seen within. Work a counter, technical dictionary definition of prostitution. Is an attitude, or a lip curvature considered sexual gratification if we remain dressed? But w****s don't wear their names pinned against their breast. © 2009 sea lily |
