A Poem by sea lily

so call me up, illuminating twilight
and descending upon conviction,
warming the remains...
i'm no longer exemplary.
my heart is in my hands.
and i forget that, i'm a girl, my body curves
and slopes in at the waist.
i forget that i'm the perfect height
for larger arms, to rest upon shoulders
comfortably.
i forget you'll have to bend in two, to reach me
gently prying at my long-lost story, not much
that's untouched and clean
to the memory.
