spring

spring

A Poem by sea lily

The day was fresh,
no stains to mar it
no blood, ink, or tears.
My limbs were loose
the ache of my ribs
ceased in the breeze.
I shrugged on a jacket.
My head was clear.

Spring is my respite
and I felt it near.
