A Poem by sea lily

when it is late,
and the phone still rings
i stare into cherry glass
and dissolve into its contents.
because one night i let you
place me between your dried lips,
my tip alight and burning
to steal my essence.
now running through stone decay
with your voice to my ear
i write bad poetry
that i hardly even mean.
