drug

drug

A Poem by sea lily

red lights and bare bodies
feminine, compressed fat.
elegant streets transformed.
and, well, i say f**k it
our minds aren't here at all.
so swallow me with your memory
envelop me with your pain
after amsterdam, anyway
we'll never be the same.

i crouch next to you,
hunched figure of the past
your head rocks with a feeling
found at the bottom of a glass.
