rotten

rotten

A Poem by sea lily

decaying slowly
shrinking before the sun
a rancid feeling
that smoulders
and then grows
somewhere
above my stomach
but beneath my heart.
a tiny tug.
the right to hurt
to bruise, to burn, another
injury for today.
crippling
debilitating mind.
straining masochism
against your face.
flooded with shame.

i feel it
like a stone in my chest!
maybe its not the same?
but it goes away after a while
i really like this, great descriptive language
