underground

underground

A Poem by sea lily

refugees in a cargo train
sullen faces and dull eyes
spirits forlorn in forced circumstance
stealing the air.
looking without seeing
no human connection forged
just empty gazes and solemn brows
and a crush of faces and feelings
never to be seen.
