strange enclosed space
adjacent to where they once slept often in anger, sometimes in peace. and waiting for my turn i grew suddenly a rush of affection for this shrunken old man who even now keeps his paternal watch on my little mother and this place where my tottering legs once roamed with her. © 2008 sea lily |
