A story about a man that has lost the true love of his life and is simply reflecting and sending messages in the wind.

The girl struggles as her promises were all turned to ash. Reaching out only to find that the warm touch she had felt on the other side had went cold. She could feel herself slipping back into the darkness she thought she had left. The world she was awakened to was more than she could handle. Turning to herbs and poison and other worldly things. Will she dwell forever more? Searching for that warmth that she had once had and lost. The man on the other side gave his life and could not give anymore. He was all but lost. When he felt her slip he did all he could to hold on but it wasn't enough. It wasn't until she was gone could he remember what was wrong. Cruel world!! Oh cruel world!!! He cried if only the stars could reverse! I've got it all back. And now!? Why only now do I remember what it took to save you from your shallow grave? Now all his words are but bloody shards of glass. To know that the only way this time is for her to see on her own what has happened and to hopefully reach in the same direction. He knows he will carry this burden to his grave shaking and trembling at his loss. A fate worse than death itself. If only the odds were in his favor he knew she could be saved forevermore with this new knowledge. But until that day he lay cold and lifeless as she. Waiting for something that seems as likely as a familiar speck of dirt to blow past him in the wind. I love you forever and always. Those words are forever burned into every strand of their being. All is not lost he'd wait until another life if it is what her choices force him to do. Perhaps a message in the wind he said. "You are mine and I am yours." "What we have is irreplaceable and undeniable, true from the heart love that can be covered but never destroyed." "You will never belong to anyone like you did me." "Pride, Jealousy, Fear, Hate, Anger, be damned!" "Smear my name and burn me into a lifeless carcass. But you will never unsee my eyes locked into yours." I hoped she find comfort in this world. But that she remember that cool at ease feeling in her chest it's me not them.

As I seal myself away I say a my final hopes and prayers. "Come back not from from pity, shame, or helplessness.
