Mother Earth and Father Sky
A Poem by TheSeaOfWoe
A lullaby inspired by nature.
Oh, Mother Earth,
and Father Sky,
oh, things that crawl,
and things that fly,
when the sun goes down
we all go to sleep
and the grasshoppers will chirp
and sing their songs as no one
else makes a peep.
Oh, Mother Earth,
and Father Sky,
we will wait to wake
until the sun dips above the skyline,
Oh, Mother Earth,
and Father Sky,
we bid you goodbye,
and go to collect dreams
in good time,
until the early morning.

Thanks for the review!
