My Sunshine and MoonlightA Poem by TheSeaOfWoeThis is a poem which compares the person I love to both sunshine and moonlight. Enjoy.
She is my sunshine,
my warmth, my spring, no man could ask for a greater thing, no, no he can’t,
she is my moonlight, the brightness and guide through the darkness, she even makes me want to dance, to sing, to take notice of the greater things,
the world is beautiful, and she is the world to me, I love her so, I will proclaim if I must, simply to get my point across,
everyone shall know, that I am always hers, even if one day she no longer wants to be mine, for she has stolen my heart, no, rather, my heart was given to her willingly,
it is a joyful but scary thing, but I trust my sunshine, my warmth, my guide, my spring,
I love her over everything, she does no wrong in my eyes, like an angel in disguise, leave me here, forever more,
for I love her so, and nothing can prevent that, she will forever be, my hope, my guide, my love, my warmth, my spring, sunshine and moonlight, I love her...over everything. © 2014 TheSeaOfWoeAuthor's Note
