AbusedA Poem by Nicole
A stinging slap mark,
Hangs on her face. The words are all cruel, Meant to put her in place. The pain is too real, So with tears in her eyes, She’ll look quickly away, And bleed out last cries. She’s on the floor now, As the ref counts to three, Her opponent just smiles, She’s easy to beat. One last kick in the ribs, For pain is her pleasure. One last slap in the face, And some spit for good measure. The shadow exits the ring, Yet she can still feel the stare. But the saddest part is... She was the only one there. © 2012 NicoleReviews
