Hush

Hush

A Poem by Scribbles
"

Sex, okay? Sex.

"

Hush

In that house
the word "alone" can bring to life
a different meaning
Alone is quiet. Alone is private. Alone is ecstacy

Quietly you go about
your  trembling duties, for the  benefit
of any lurking ghosts between the walls
We leave then undisturbed

A ragged lip my only prize,
sore from caging countless cries
of love, of lust, of adolescent foolishness
you choose

As you sleep
the silence is reborn. well,
not silence really, since you snore
a beautiful sound.

your breath, your beating heart,
and mine connect
and for one beautiful and amazing moment, the silence
sets me free.

Beautiful and amazing Scribbles. I really like this poem a lot. The way the poem flows is very natural, and allows the reader to enjoy the mental picture that you paint with your words. Great job!
