The Atheist TouchA Poem by ScribblerlarryA reaching out to others of a similar spirit in a godless world. The Atheist Touch Each one teach one… Each one reach one… Each one is kin.
My father today is my son tomorrow… My brother now is my sister later… Their life belongs to me and mine to them.
Those who spill the blood of we are not we, Yet must be loved as we… Lest we become them.
The night is dark and I know fear… I pray to gods who do not hear… If they exist they are not near.
My brothers/sisters touch my hand To clear my mind with peace. I need not that which is not there.
Take back your gods and spirits dark… My brothers/sisters hold my hand… And joyfully I know, I’m Man! © 2014 ScribblerlarryReviews
