I'm sitting on a mushroom,
and my head is where it's at. I am not alive, which is fine. I am content with the shifting hues and bubbling words that dance around me. ambition
derision
distraction
uglification
swinging back and forth, bouncing off of each word as they dive and dance to my rhythm (or possibly I to theirs) until my cheeks sting with melted sclera. A black hole steals the sun from my pocket and tosses it out the window. My bleeding sockets follow, alluring me to reach out and take it back, but the ledge is teasing me. It tickles my toes, fires spasms of tense excitement and numbing terror through my breast and stomach, inducing nausea all over the canvas I created while riding a white horse whose mane was stained with electric koolaid. One step will show distinction between the ultimate high and a skull-stained sidewalk. © 2010 TheScreamingSadistReviews
