Mighty Tiger

Mighty Tiger

A Poem by Scrawl
"

My favorite animal the tiger.

"

slowly but surly the tiger creeps forward
he snarls at his opponent
reaches deep down and pulls out a growl
the warning has been placed

now the choice is his opponent's
to strike and be brought down
or to stand down and lose his
pride

makes no difference to the mighty beast

he ignorantly and foolishly chooses to attack
with a swift move of his paw it's all done
the tiger of course claims victory
his expression stays stern and unchanged

the tigers not cocky about what he can do
no he is most honorable and noble
he just walks away with grace
after all he is the mighty beast

wow i really like this; your description of the tiger is very powerful. just two minor spelling mistakes: one on the last line of the first stanza; "place" should be "placed" and the other on the second line of the last stanza: "hes" should be "he"
Other than that it is a great poem! It's funny how we both wrote a poem with similar names and the same picture! But i definitely enjoyed yours!
