“I believe I can fly”
The last lie I tell myself, motivating…
As I jump off the bridge.

Reminded me of an awesome movie's ending... Ankhon Dekhi..

You should watch it if you haven't... it begins on the same note as your poem and ends with... well shouldn't spoil it.. Good work again.

You shall fly for a moment. Bridges dives without proper rope. Last chance to see the sky and the sun. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are welcome.
An astonishingly splendid piece!
Loved the eloquent vividness!
Brevity at its best!

What a lovely write, love the brevity and one thing is for sure the ground will catch you! :)

Thank you ;)
i love how this twists from the first positive line, to the next which could go either way...and then ends with ....well...maybe even from the ground, in pieces, we still believe we can fly...

i am working on my wings now.

Thank you.

Broken wings. X
Short, few words, but deep and somewhat desperate feeling. I get this and wish I didn't unless it is a very low bridge with clear water running below on a hot summer day. Nicely written

Thank you! And yes, it isnt a summer day....more like a cold winter on a summer day!
