Casting Stones

Casting Stones

A Poem by Scout Ventures

What can be done for the little ones tears
for as they grow throughout the years
the tears grow too and stain the ground
the fallen fall and hit face down.

What can be done for the forgotten one
this homily child life just begun
they just don't see as he's always here
though each one pass by hopefully near.

Then one day the lady came
boy looked up told her his name
lady scooped boy into her arms
promised him to do no harm

How is it how could it be
that all those people could not see
seeing others for thier beauty
not see this boy looking back
at me.
