First Flight

First Flight

A Poem by ScotchRoberts
"

Youth in flight

"

How was your flight Little Man?

Was it your first?

Yes it was ...

I guess it wasn't the worst.

The button was cool

Because the lady came.

But after a few times,

She wasn't the same.

I liked the TV they put in

Over my chair.

And the hole they made in the plane

To blow on my hair.

But we didn't go in the water

So I never got to float on my seat.

I was kind of bummed about that

Because I thought that would be neat.

I guess I did well.

Even if I spiled my soda and nuts.

I didn't mean to

And it wasn't worth all the fuss.

I got all the way to the end,

And I didn't even use my mask for the air.

I flushed a pillow in the toilet

So I think that was fair.

My only regret

Was from the end of the ride.

They made us use steps

Instead of the slide.
