My pain is my own

No one understands,and no other can grasp the complexity of my twisted mind ...

Darkness consumes , drowning me with the full intensity of frustration and sadness...

Some mistakes come back to haunt you in life. A never ending destructive cycle ...

Given a new beginning is the most inspiring ,exhilarating feeling -
You begin to feel Gods hand comforting your despair and isolation...

I try and try to keep my slate clean, blood sweat and tears...
Until the day I'm tempted yet again and fate throws me the same hand ...

Weak. I've succumbed to this dreadful alienation once more...

Helpless . Lost. Darkness evades my soul -It seems we are destined to be life long friends...

I'm Suffocating. Hope evades me.
I'm drowning in the well of tears overflowing from my soul
I'm Alone . Alone. Alone ...

I only wish there was a cure , a light at the end of the tunnel of doom . A ray of sunshine at an unsuspecting door...

But I'm Alone . Alone. Alone
In this cold dark dungeon that has me bound . This realm knows no survivors and grants no second chances ...
I feel only the embrace of darkness...
Alone . Alone . Alone

I love how descriptive each stanza was. I really liked your choice of adjectives. I feel like some sort of expert on the subject of being alone and you depicted it so beautifully. I enjoyed it allot.

The pit of despair is all consuming; there is no way out. I felt the presence of darkness in this write, the kind of darkness that follows us through life. I felt sadness for the one unable to find a way out of the deep well of giving in, once again, to a cyclical addiction. And in it, no hope. Well written.
