I ache

I ache for you.

Sitting so close, yet so far away.

My mind races, trying to find the words.

I see you there and my heart aches for the days that were and hopefully will be.

Back to happiness, laughter and love.

I think about you and my body aches, longing for you arms to wrap around me.

This distance, this rift makes me ache.

I see you holding our son and my whole being aches.

I want to tell you but still can not find the words.

What can be done, what can I do.

I am incomplete, missing the way we were,

and I continue to ache.
