I'LL STAND BY YOU


I'll stand by you in the morning,
When you rise to start each day.
I'll stand by you in the evening,
When it is time for you to pray.

I'll stand by you through the good times,
And through those times of grey.
I'll stand by you when you are alone,
Even when you have nothing to say.

I'll stand by you when the chips are down,
When times get hard and you think to stray.
I'll stand by you when you break my heart,
And those times when relationships' fray.

I'll stand by you when things go sour,
Even though you turn me away,
I'll stand by you, as you close the door,
Knowing I will return another day.
