FishA Poem by Scisenheartcatfish and starfish are nicknames for my friend caitlin and me respectivly.
I do not feel jealousy
as you would in my position perhaps a friend so close is more disability than without you. Yet so often i do live without you. A thought of a catfish always remains but off she swims into his arms. Has a starfish told you to grab onto the hook? to embrace it with your loving arms? at least you have such an easy method of escape. I must wait for the tide. It does not leave me, the poisonous tide. but what if, out it did flow? If the fisherman, with his long hair and array of hats, has dropped you, i shall lose you. Even if you have not slipped, from hands which protect, though both on land the distance may still be too much. But you have been caught by one who cares While i am still glued to my rock, in this poisonous sea which tastes so sweet. the sea is still. Sea and sky can separate two fish desperate not to drown.
