StitchesA Poem by Alex DelkA short poem. All the world’s riches, Could not sew these stitches, For your words are far greater than dollar amounts.
My only confession, Is that worldly possessions, Bear no meaning, for my heart can’t count.
So let it be known, If these stitches are sewn, The pain will not cease to live
For the hurt that I feel Is incessant and real Yet my heart still continues to give. © 2011 Alex DelkAuthor's Note
