A moment stolenA Poem by wa collaboration with Corset
I’m stealing time's constant motion
to cause the hands to stop and force us to drop into a state of contemplation. A breath to be taken; and a moment that we never seem to get, finally stolen. Please, my thief, take a sledge hammer to my clock - make it stop somewhere around heaven. My love is a faithful seafaring man and timeis but a jagged cliff, in which to dash our hopes but though we may linger on the winged clipped edge, time holds no sway over us, not even when time is at its end and time is irrelevant in your arms, each moment is eternity in your eyes and your eyes hold so much more than the time that shows around them: a stolen glance; when it’s not feasible that the moment will stop unless we steal it and make it our own. and all I want is that stolen moment with you. © 2012 wReviews
