Life is a crazy thing

Sometimes life is turned upside down...
Sometimes life takes unexpected turns...
From side to side we slide,
but living is feeling these movements.
We are buckled in, ready or not
Up we go and the greater it gets
'Till we reach the top,
And the anticipation is over...
But then down the other side
We are rapidly flying through our course.
As it slows down, we take a breath
But wait....
Often times life takes unexpected turns!
We know what happened
Who knows what's coming....
We are buckled in, ready or not
Our plans scattered
Sometimes forgotten all in all
To go with the flow is overrated
For we are tossed and turned
Sometimes day by day
It's up and it's down
Life is a roller coaster
Constantly ever changing
The ride is fast,
The ride is crazy,
Sometimes scary,
We don't know what to expect
But sit back and enjoy
Relax for it doesn't last forever
No one makes it out alive
