Sea Drift

Sea Drift

A Poem by Scarlett D. Freeman

Swooned to the music of the churning sea,
Singing your song of beauty and Dread,
Splashing, wavy always here and there,
Spewing spray in the salty air,
Smell so distinctively pungent to your nose,
Seagulls, fish, Whales with a watery abode
Sail to adrift or bring you a shore,
Sinking in the bitter dredged weight of the sea,
Sea drift carries on and on forever to be,
Settled, calm and peaceful with a sense of serene
