Crying in the Darkness

Crying in the Darkness

A Poem by Scarlett Letter

Silently she sits alone, reasoning with herself

Crying in the darkness, not listening to anyone else

Curled up in a ball, nowhere else to go

Sitting in the darkness, feeling so very low

People hear her sorrow, yet no one seems to come

People go on and live their lives, never giving her some

Love is all she asks for, in this world so dark and gray

And by the mornings Dawn, she will slowly fade away

Sunshine does not comfurt her, it scarcly touches her at all

People only hear of her, they never actually see her

But if you got to know her, you'd realize that shes not that tall

Her eyes are always wet with tears or rain, shes never really sure

She's tired of dealing with this pain, oh whens it gonna end

How can her heart start healing, if it never starts to mend

Silently she sits alone, reasoning with herself

Crying in the darkness, not listening to anyone else

Sitting in the silence, A girl just as fare

and Sitting in the Shadows,

She died in the darkness there

A terrific insight into the feelings that this girl is feeling and how powerful, intense and meaningful they are and how she analyses them... although people will pass her feelings by...and in the end what becomes of her is sad.... a terrific poetic tale :)
