Come

Come

A Poem by Maureenalexandra

The tepid water continues to rise
A flood of young love's tears,
birthed of a sweet girl's heartache
I'll build us an ark
and pick you up,
my love
Soon as the snow moon emerges
Soon as it comes to light my way
Don't forget to grab the dog
We might not be coming home

I really loved your poem but the ending lost its poetic idealism.
