“We Just Want To Be Free!”A Poem by Willow WildThis is a poem I wrote about the hardships that LGBT+ have to go through. I wrote this so my fellow community couldn’t feel more heard by one of their own.
Don’t you see
We just want to feel free Wether its they, he or a she You can’t drown us in the sea Some must flee While others have the key Not me I stand and fight In the night or the light Oh because you’re not right So we’re done being polite Our dynamite will ignite In the moonlight or the sunlight Can’t you see We just want to be free You are you and I am me Wether its they, he or a she So can’t you see We just to be free Land or sea, we will not flee Just for being me Jump up with glee Because we are we Love us for who we are Not who you want us to be We could’ve stolen a car or a bar So can’t you see We just want to be free!!!! © 2020 Willow WildAuthor's Note
